M/S Veer Shahid Om Fuel Centre was commissioned on 30th May 2006. This pump is well known as Veer Om Fuel in the locality. Shri Manikant Singh is the proprietor of  this retail outlet. This petrol pump has a team of dedicated employees who serve the customers round the clock.

The outlet is a tribute to martyr Veer Om Kumar Singh who sacrificed his life for the sake of our nation in operation Prakram. We offer our hearty gratitude to our brave soldiers of the nation. We place a brief biography of the martyr Veer Om Kumar Singh below, which inspires us for sacrificing for the nation.

Martyr Veer Om Kumar Singh was born on 4th March 1981, in a lower middle class family at Dhouri Village of Banka District. He got his primary education from Navyug Vidyalaya, Bhagalpur, Bihar. Thereafter, he completed his study in Sainik School Tilaiya, Bihar, a well-known educational institute of India. He had a keen interest in sports and music. He won Basketball championship in his school days.

In just an age of 21 years, he sacrificed his life while fighting with terrorists on 24th Feb 2003. Martyr Veer Om Kumar Singh is no more with us, but his memories and his sacrifices will always remain in our hearts. His courage, patriotism and enthusiasm with discipline inspire us for being an ideal citizen of the nation.
